Lia is a dedicated and compassionate educator with a background in psychology, Montessori education, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). A Miami, Florida native, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida International University and is bilingual in Spanish and English. Her experience across educational and therapeutic settings has shaped her understanding of individualized support, patience, and positive learning environments where every child can thrive.

As a Montessori Teacher Assistant, Lia supported children's academic, social, and developmental growth while encouraging independence in a nurturing classroom setting. She later worked as a Clinical Assistant at an ABA center, where she helped implement individualized treatment plans, reinforced positive behaviors, and collaborated with clinical staff and families to support children's developmental goals.

At The Lucy Project, Lia brings together her background in psychology and individualized instruction to support children in developing essential literacy and academic skills.
