Shannon Rose Loughlin is a Learning Specialist at The Lucy Project with a multidisciplinary background in psychology, behavioral intervention, and healthcare. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami and continued her graduate education at Emory University, exploring the intersection of psychology, public health, and human development. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), she brings experience in Applied Behavior Analysis to support children.

Her connection to literacy is personal. Shannon Rose grew up with dyslexia in a family where learning differences span generations. This experience shaped her belief in early intervention and her patient, encouraging approach with children. That perspective is what drew her to The Lucy Project's mission: that high-quality literacy support should never be a privilege, and struggling to read is never a measure of a child's potential.

At The Lucy Project, Shannon Rose combines behavioral science and evidence-based practice to support Structured Literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading, helping struggling readers build strong skills while becoming more confident and proud of themselves.
