Catherine Sayen

IMSE Master Trainer

Catherine is an IMSE Orton-Gillingham Master Trainer and Professional Development Specialist at The Lucy Project. With over 25 years of experience in education, she is committed to equipping teachers with evidence-based strategies to improve literacy outcomes.

Catherine is a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist and holds multiple licenses, including Administration and Supervision K-12 and Early/Primary Education for Virginia and Massachusetts. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Springfield College, with additional international training at Charlotte Mason College in England.

At The Lucy Project, Catherine leads professional development initiatives, empowering educators to implement effective literacy instruction that transforms student learning.
