Dr. Carmen Marroquin

Education Manager

Carmen Marroquin, Ph.D., brings over 15 years of experience in literacy instruction, curriculum development, and teacher training to The Lucy Project. With a doctorate in Teaching and Learning from Florida International University, she has served as a director, instructional coach, and adjunct professor, supporting educators and students from K-12 through higher education. Carmen is certified in Reading (K–12), Elementary Education, and English (6–12), and has led impactful professional development for educators statewide. Her passion for educational equity and evidence-based literacy practices strengthens our mission to improve literacy outcomes for all.
