Carolina is a bilingual educator with more than 20 years of experience supporting children, families, and educators. With a background in psychology, she has taught young children in special education, worked in autism consultation, and helped early childhood educators strengthen their practice through assessment, coaching, and training. She brings experience with individualized instruction and a commitment to understanding what each child needs to learn.

As a Learning Specialist, Carolina is excited to work directly with children, helping them develop their reading skills and recognize their progress. She is also drawn to the organization's work with educators, which extends the reach of effective literacy instruction throughout the community. Carolina looks forward to building lasting connections with students, families, and teachers at The Lucy Project.
