Diana Rodriguez
Learning Specialist
Diana is a Learning Specialist at The Lucy Project with a strong academic background and a deep personal commitment to literacy education. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, earning a 3.9 GPA, and a minor in Child Development. She began her journey with The Lucy Project as a volunteer shortly after college, drawn to the organization’s mission on a personal level. Diana has experience working with children of all ages, including teaching English to students whose first language is Spanish, and brings both volunteer and instructional experience into her work.
With a strong interest in language acquisition and evidence-based learning tools, Diana approaches literacy instruction with patience, empathy, and curiosity. She is passionate about supporting children’s growth and confidence and plans to continue her education by pursuing a master’s degree in Neuropsychology in the coming years.
