Oscar is a Learning Specialist who brings years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, counselor, and tutor. Each of these roles has shaped his understanding of students as whole learners and strengthened his ability to connect with them both inside and outside the classroom. He holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in English Education.

Oscar finds great satisfaction in creating environments where students develop and grow as readers, writers, and thinkers. To support that growth, he uses a variety of strategies, both structured and situational, adapting his approach to fit each student and each moment. Oscar is committed to helping every child he works with discover the power of literacy through his work at The Lucy Project.
